Frequently Asked Questions.
Where’s my money going?
Nevette Previd, John Clift and the Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group (MVSG) founded the festival to celebrate and support those who live their lives working the sea and land. This year, a portion of the proceeds will go to bolster the MVSG Shell Recovery Program. This program reduces and recycles shell waste from the Island's waste stream and provides a local source of shell for shellfish restoration and, improves shellfish production which in turn enhances local water quality. All shells from MVOF will be recycled for their program.
When do tickets go on sale?
What’s the difference between a VIP ticket and a general admission ticket?
A VIP ticket includes early entry at 2pm, access to VIP lounges with premium wines and liquor, Chefs Demo, eats and an (amazing) gift bag. A general admission ticket includes all food and drinks inside the festival.
If I buy a ticket to the “Conversation With” on Friday, May 8th can I also attend the festival on May 9th?
Each event is separate, so if you want to attend both events, you’ll need to purchase a ticket to each.
